Our Vision & Mission

Vision: To create an environment that enables children and youth to attain their full life potential.

Mission: We create, provide, and advocate for health and economic empowerment services for marginalized communities in Uganda. We focus on HIV-affected people, general sanitation, sensitization, and improving access to human rights through influence on government and health practitioners.

Our belief: We believe that every person has the right to access resources and opportunities in order to live and develop with dignity and to become an active and contributing member of our society.

Our Interventions

Hope Worldwide International bases its interventions on the communities' felt needs. We engage in specific projects across Uganda:

• Kawempe Slums: Empowering youths with vocational skills through our tailoring centre.
• Dokolo District: Staging medical camps in this poor northern district.
• Kamuli & Eastern Districts: Focusing on the sanitation of the girl child in schools (Church of Uganda Primary School) by providing pads.
• Kibuku & Pallisa: Renovation of schools (Nalubembe Primary, Kalaki Primary) to better the learning environment, along with water installation and hygiene education.
• Kampala (Kosovo & Makindye): Fighting malnutrition in slum areas by providing Maganjo soya and posho.
• Mukono & Buikwe: Women's mission on HIV/AIDS at landing sites (Katosi, Kiyindi). We empower affected women with income-generating activities like modern charcoal making and agro-business.
• Youth & Universities: Focusing on mental health, drama, and sports at institutions like Makerere University, Islamic University Kibuli, and UCU Mukono.
